Week 1: Finish the infrastructure

Open all five professions, complete Skateboard, expand the bag once, enter Moonlit Forest, and build Cutter, Kiln and Furnace. Push Farmer and Crafter at least into their next certification stage. Do not buy a large amount of land in the first week: tools, machines and bag space normally produce more long-term value than empty plots.

Week 2: Make money and upgrade tools

Use Wheat for tasks, quick turnover and processing stock. At Apprentice Farmer, use Cabbage and Water Spinach for fast cash. At Junior, move toward Watermelon, Pepper and Tomato for stronger per-plot returns, while Sugarcane and Corn remain useful for processing and requests. Link the crop choices to the Crop Profit Calculator rather than treating one public ranking as permanent.

Recommended tool order

Start with Bag Expansion, then Pickaxe, Axe, Watering Can, Hoe, Fishing Rod and Slingshot. Pickaxe accelerates the ore that drives machines; Axe improves Wood and Hardwood; Watering Can rises in priority once the farm is roughly 25–30 plots. Move Fishing Rod earlier if fishing is your main income, or Slingshot earlier if exploration is blocked. Axe and Pickaxe blueprints are at Zerine’s General Store, Hoe and Watering Can at Happiness Seed Shop, Slingshot at Exploration Club and Fishing Rod at AquaBlue Outpost. Upgrades require the matching profession level and blueprint, then are crafted at the Worktable.

Week 3: Automation and the main line

Advance the Island Life objectives and continue Look for Marston, Port Construction and Starsand Station. Keep paths through the farm, reserve positions for future Sprinklers, and give Trellis crops their own rows. At Junior Farmer begin Planting Box; at Intermediate prioritize Sprinkler; at Senior move toward Grinder and the Everlasting Crop system. Trellis placement is expensive to change, so confirm the item description says Planting Equipment rather than buying the decorative Trellis.

Week 4: Prepare for the Beach Festival

Summer 25 often starts preparation work. On Summer 22–24, stop sowing crops that cannot mature, inspect the remaining growth time on each plot, store Plank, Ingot and Fiber, clear the bag, keep some shells, fish, crops and processed items, and make a manual save. On Summer 25–26, check the mailbox immediately, accept Festival Preparation, open the quest log for each resident’s exact item list, confirm subquests actually entered the log, submit timed materials and recheck status. On Summer 27–28, go to the beach early, inspect activity entrances and shops, buy limited recipes and blueprints before clothing, and keep Festival Tokens away from ordinary food until priorities are clear. If an entrance is missing, save and reload the area.

Season-end checks

Summer has only 28 days. Keep Everlasting Seeds, reserve seed money, and do not sell all Wood, Stone, Fiber, basic ore or materials needed by requests. Check Summer 2 mail for Blue Tears, Summer 25 mail for Festival preparation, and remember that falling unconscious at 2:00 AM can affect the next day. Use the crop, fish, gift and profession databases to prepare the next season rather than relying on an Early Access route.

Easy-to-miss First Summer reminders

Every season is 28 days, crop growth begins when planted, and mature-time checks matter before every late-season sowing. Check Islandpedia Stamp Collection, StarNote and Island Life rewards regularly. Current 1.0 may have changed older Festival loading behavior, so treat old stall, entrance and subquest bugs as version notes rather than fixed mechanics.
